Town of Blowing Rock moves to Stage 1 Water Conservation

The Town of Blowing Rock has moved to Stage 1 Water Conservation status as of today (Monday, September 16, 2024). This occurs when the water level in Blowing Rock reservoir falls 5 feet below full pond, and the National Weather Service predicts less than 50% chance of precipitation within the next two days.
Residents are asked to:
-Limit lawn watering to only what is necessary for plants to survive
-Limit vehicle washing
-Limit wash down of outside areas such as sidewalks, patios, etc.
Commercial users are asked to:
