Warming Center open at Deep Gap Fire Department

Wednesday, February 12, 2025, 8:15 pm – A warming center is open at Deep Gap Fire Department overnight and into tomorrow.
Will Holt, Emergency Services Director, tells WataugaOnline, “We will reassess tomorrow and if continued sheltering as needed”
Due to the numerous trees and power lines that are still down, extreme caution is urged when traveling to the center.
