Concord man charged with felony larceny after stealing construction equipment in Avery County
On Friday, February 14, 2025, Noah Daniel Garrett, 27, of Concord, was arrested in Catawba County on an Avery County warrant. Garrett was charged with Felony Larceny in the Avery County case and given a $675,000 secured bond.
The defendant was part of a multi-county fraud investigation involving stolen construction equipment. Garrett unlawfully removed a Caterpillar 315c Excavator from Jordan Lane in Avery County and sold the excavator in Catawba County. This investigation is pending court action.
