A Johnson County Tennessee deputy was reportedly shot after a chase involving a robbery suspect fleeing from Vilas.
The high-speed chase began after an alleged armed robbery at the Vilas QP gas station. The chase reportedly ended after a crash just before Mountain City. The suspect was also reportedly shot.
A large police presence was seen by Kenneth Reece escorting an ambulance down Highway 105 in Boone around 1:25pm.
