Portion of the Complex Ball Fields Parking Lot Closed Due to Construction

Town of Boone, North Carolina— A portion of the parking lot near the Complex Ball Fields,
located at 355 Martin Luther King Jr. Street, will be closed beginning the week of August 25,
weather permitting, to ensure safe construction at the Hunting Hills Bridge site. The closure is
necessary to accommodate a directional bore for a new water line and will remain in effect until
this phase of construction is complete.

Visitors to the Complex Ball Fields are asked to park in the open section of the lot or at the
Clawson-Burnley Park lot. Motorists traveling in the Martin Luther King Jr. Street/Hunting Hills
Lane area are reminded to drive with caution during this time. Additionally, the Hunting Hills
access trail on the Boone Greenway Trail will remain closed for the duration of construction. For
