"All Together Now" Summer Reading Program At Watauga Public Library

The Watauga County Public Library presents “All Together Now” the Summer Reading Program, running from June 2 through July 28.

The 2023 Summer Reading Program is open to young people 18 and under, and activities include Amazing Al, Big Bang Boom, the Kid’s Zone at Boonerang, Bubble Brigade, gem mining, indoor and outdoor story times, weekly prizes, and more, Friday, June 2nd from 1-3 pm with ice cream, face painting, and more.

Participants can register for our Summer Reading Program as well as our events for the summer. Once readers hit the weekly reading goal for their age group, they can come by the library to pick a prize from our generous local community donors like Stick Boy, Wendy’s, and more!

The goal for the summer for children 5 and under is 400 minutes, and the goal for children 6 and above is 800 minutes.

Anyone who exceeds the goal for the summer will receive extra Book Bucks to enter raffles to win more prizes.
