Avery County Agricultural and Horticultural Fair is coming back
One of the High-Countries most anticipated activities is the Avery County Agricultural and Horticultural Fair.
This years fair will be from Wednesday, September 7th through Saturday September the 10th. It will be held at the Heritage Park located at 661 Vale Road in Newland . Music, Exhibits, demonstrations, competitions, and various rides as well as several other events are slated, so there will be something for everyone. Gates for the fair open 4:30PM the 7th-9th and on Saturday the 10th the gates open at 8:30 AM, with free admission for everyone. Thursday night is “Carload Special Night” where up to 6 people in a car can receive a free wristband. Otherwise amusement ride wristbands are $20 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; and $15 on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and $20 from 6:00 p.m. to closing at 11:00 p.m. For more information on on the fair visit their Facebook account @AveryAHFair
