"CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG" RETURNS TO APPALACHIAN THEATRE OF THE HIGH COUNTRY

The classic movie musical “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” is the next offering on the inaugural Saturday Morning Family Film Series at the historic Appalachian Theatre of the High Country.

“Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” is the third of six family-friendly movie classics being shown in the historic theatre, around 53 years after it was first on the Appalachian Theatre screen when it made its debut back in 1968.

The free screening begins at 10 am on Saturday July 30, and is followed by a tour of the newly-renovated and restored 1938 vaudeville theatre and cinema.

There is no cost to see the movie, but ages 13 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
