Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute is excited to announce that they will be hosting author Ron Rash for the 2023 Laurette LePrevost Writers Symposium.

The event, entitled Mountains and Memory: A Reading by Ron Rash, will take place on Thursday, March 30 at 7 p.m. at the J.E. Broyhill Civic Center in Lenoir. This reading and discussion session is free and open to the public. For those interested in learning more about the Appalachian Mountains, the Watauga Campus is honored to host a presentation by the Smoky Mountains National Park on Monday, March 20 at 1 p.m. in W372-Room 113. All book club events on both campuses are free and open to all students and the public and include light refreshments. Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity to engage with Ron Rash and learn more about the rich history and culture of the Appalachian Mountains.
