KODO Taiko will be at the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts

Internationally renowned KODO Taiko Performing Arts Ensemble is drumming its way from Japan to the High Country, bringing heart, history, and the centuries-old art of high-energy taiko drumming to The Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts.

Presented by Appalachian State University’s Office of Arts and Cultural Programs, this is KODO’s first tour since the pandemic. The KODO One Earth Tour 2023: Tsuzumi will come to Boone Thursday, March 23 at 7pm at the Schaefer Center for the Performing Arts.
