SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS WANTED IN ASHE COUNTY

Ashe County Schools is now hiring for full-time substitute teacher positions. These positions are grant funded and will be available at the beginning of the 2022-23 school year.

Successful applicants will work full-time at assigned locations determined at the time of hire.

To be eligible, applicants must hold an Associates Degree or higher, or have a minimum of 48 semester hours in a degree-seeking program. They also must have passed Effective Substitute Teacher training or hold a NC Professional Educator License.

These positions will act as a classroom teacher when the regular teacher is absent or unavailable and perform duties in the school setting as assigned by the school administrators.
