The Children's Council of Watauga County is celebrating the Week of the Young Child from April 1-7, aiming to raise awareness about the needs of young children and their families, and promote Child Abuse Prevention.
Sponsored by the National Association of Young Children, the week will feature events such as a special Storytime on April 5 at Watauga County Library and The Family Resource Village at Buildfest on April 1st at Watauga High School. These events aim to highlight early childhood programs and services that cater to the needs of children and families.
