Seven Devils met to Discuss creating a new Park

The Seven Devils Town Council held a meeting discussing a public hearing for the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund grant, which could allocate $250,000 for a new park near the Town Hall.
The park would include a playground, dog park, picnic pavilion, stage, community garden, and PARS course. The application deadline is May 1 with community members submitting letters of recommendation in support. Construction would begin in spring 2024 if the grant is received. Upcoming budget workshops were also announced for April 27, May 10, May 24, and June 7. Additionally, the council postponed discussions on boardroom furniture changes to improve live streaming and seating arrangements until their next meeting on April 11.
