Watauga Veterans Urged To File For PACT ACT Benefits

The Watauga County Veterans Office encourages Vietnam Veterans, Gulf War and Post 9/11 Veterans effected by the PACT ACT to file for benefits. 

To check eligibility visit:  va.gov and type PACT ACT in the search drop down box. You can also WataugaCounty.org, and click on Veteran Services. 

If you served in the designated area and HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED with one of the listed presumptive illness, you are encouraged to file. 

If you are a widow whose spouse died of a presumptive illness and served in the listed areas you may be eligible for survivors’ benefits.

This is a service provide free to Watauga County veterans and dependents.
