Singing in the Rain Coming to App Theatre Sept. 20
The Appalachian Theatre of the High Country is hosting their “Cinema Classic Series” this fall.
We reported earlier this month that the historic cinema was seeking suggestions for their series which will feature four genres of film. Movie musicals are slated for September, Sci-fi films in October, then Westerns are scheduled for November, followed by classic holiday movies hitting the big screen in December. Patron Services Manager Jason Deatheridge said an astonishing 333 suggestions were received by the App Theatre after getting input from audience members and the general public. The next Musical masterpiece coming to Boone will be Singing In The Rain on September 20. This classic will play at 7PM with general admission and tickets being $5 to accommodate families and other moviegoers.
