Two more officials from the Watauga County School System have announced their retirement

We reported Watauga County Schools Superintendent Scott Elliot's intention to retire by September of next year.
The Watauga County Board of Education approved the retirements of Former Chief Academic Officer Tamara Stamey. The board approved Elliott’s recommendation for a replacement. The board also approved the retirement of Human Resources Director Stephen Martin which becomes official June 30th.
