Turtle Island Preserve hosts "Wine in the Woods"

The Turtle Island Preserve is offering an weekend of relaxation and revelry surrounded by the beauty of nature.

The Turtle Island Culinary weekend is offering two days worth of events.  I spoke with Carolyn Jordan, President of the Turtle Island Preserve about what visitors can expect during these events. Wine in the Woods offers woods-inspired wines as well as a selection of micro-dishes that showcase the tannic, oaky, earthy, brambly, chalky, and flinty flavors of these unique beverages. Take a guided foraging expedition around the Turtle Island Preserve led by Susi Gott Seguret, Author, Culinary Expert and Certified Specialist of Wine and explore the various ‘fruits of the land.’ Afterward, participate in a hands-on class in our outdoor, wood-fired kitchen to create a delicious menu with a wine-pairing for the evening. Enjoy an unforgettable evening of food, wine, music, and camaraderie, all under the stars. You can find more information HERE.
