Watauga County High School is Preparing for the 21st Annual Empty Bowl event
Watauga High School students are eagerly preparing for the 21st annual Empty Bowls event, an event that is sure to support the Hunger and Health Coalition.
On Tuesday, Feb. 7, students held the first of several bowl throwing sessions to create the handmade bowls that will be used for the event. Each ticket to the Empty Bowls event costs $20 and includes the choice of a handmade bowl, soup provided by local restaurants, and a dessert. Additionally, there will be a silent auction with items donated from various local businesses. All funds raised will go toward supporting the Hunger and Health Coalition. This event is a great opportunity for the community to come together and support a great cause. It is sure to be a memorable event for all who attend.
