On Tuesday, Feb. 7, students held the first of several bowl throwing sessions to create the handmade bowls that will be used for the event. Each ticket to the Empty Bowls event costs $20 and includes the choice of a handmade bowl, soup provided by local restaurants, and a dessert. Additionally, there will be a silent auction with items donated from various local businesses. All funds raised will go toward supporting the Hunger and Health Coalition. This event is a great opportunity for the community to come together and support a great cause. It is sure to be a memorable event for all who attend.
