"Tuesday Morning" will be Closing Soon

Tuesday Morning, a home goods retail store, has announced that the Boone location is among 17 North Carolina stores set to close soon.

The store is part of the 263 stores across 39 states that are currently liquidating inventory. Three years ago, there were 700 of the stores nationwide. The news comes soon after the corporation filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Tuesday, February 14th. It's believed that the Covid-19 pandemic has contributed to the company's financial woes. Liquidation sales have already begun at the Boone store, with most items at 10% off marked prices and a section offering a 20% discount. It is anticipated that the discounts will increase as time goes on. The Boone store is located at 774 East King Street in Boone and will remain open during regular hours until management is told otherwise.
