The Appalachian Football Club Saturday handily defeated the North Alabama Soccer Coalition to take its first NPSL Southeast Conference Championship, wining 6-2 in front of some 1300 fans at the Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex.
The Appalachian FC continues in the NPSL playoffs this week, taking on the Mid-Atlantic conference champions, the Alexandria Reds, in Alexandria, Virginia this Wednesday.
